TO ALL GENERAL USERS / MEMBERS / ATTENDEES:

It is expected that everyone will refrain from posting, discussing or disseminating incorrect, erroneous, misleading or false information at the meetings or on the website. This also includes any information that is of any sexual nature / pornographic, rude, inappropriate, racist, sexist or biased against any group. Also, it is not permitted to knowingly conduct any transactions with anyone in any manner that is not honest, fair, moral, ethical, and legal or that does not take into consideration the other party’s best interest. These actions are contradictory to the philosophy of REICO and will not be permitted. REICO reserves the right to terminate your membership and privileges if these Terms of Use are not adhered to.

TO ALL REALTORS AND MORTGAGE BROKERS (also agents, specialists, etc.):

The meetings and discussion forums are for investors to network exclusively with other investors. You are expected to not solicit your services and to fully disclose your profession in a timely manner at events. Also, the purpose of the website is to provide relevant information for investors and not to be used for advertising purposes. REICO reserves the right to terminate your membership and privileges if these Terms of Use are not adhered to.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Real Estate Investment Club of Ontario Inc. (REICO) is committed to conducting business with integrity, in accordance with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all the applicable laws, rules and regulations in Ontario. REICO expects that all users, members and/or attendees will conduct business with the equivalent standards for the enjoyment and benefit of all.

CONTENT POLICY

REICO will endeavour to develop up to date and accurate collections, resources and services (from reputable sources) which meet informational, investing and educational needs our community. REICO offers its website and its many resources and,

1. REICO is not responsible for the content by its contributors nor its accuracy or availability.
2. REICO does not assume responsibility for information that may be considered erroneous, controversial, out of date, offensive or that does not meet REICO’S policies.
3. REICO does not assume responsibility for any damages, direct or indirect arising from contributed, documented and posted information.

Members, users, meeting attendees, joint venture partners, etc. are prohibited from representing themselves (expressly or implied) as a representative, agent, employee, broker or have signing authority of REICO unless a contractual relationship has been established, documented and signed by REICO.
